Posting this in Devs as suggested above.
When our dashboard page is loading, we see same query is hitting the DB multiple times. As the webpage is waiting for all the 4-5 simlar queries to complete the execution, there is a time delay in page load. Also, we see all the SQLs generated are starting with Select Top (1000001). Is there a way to reduce the no. of SQLs issued to the DB, for PBI Embeded and also give custom value for the Select TOP ().
We were planning to implement PowerBI.Preload() function in our systems. As per my previous post, I have been informed that this function is still in testing phase. I am worried if we can implement this option in our enviroment.
Can someone here provide me a reference or URL to any video, where this feature is demonstrated with an example.
