Power BI Report Control

Hi Power BI Community:

I have developed multiple reports in Power BI using Dataverse data from my Power App. The Power App uses Model Driven forms. I want to include these Power BI reports in my MD forms as described in this Microsoft article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/powerbi-control.  This article shows exactly what I want to do including context so the Poer BI report only includes records related to the main record in the form (e.g. Account is show on form and report includes records related to the selected account). When I add the control to the form, there is a dropdown to select which Power BI Report to include in the form. However, I get the message "There are no available Power BI reports." How do I load the reports into my solution so they are available in this control? In Maker, I can go to Add Existing - Power BI report but then I get the message that this "retired on July 31, 2024" so it no longer works (even though it still shows up in Maker). Since this was deprecated, how do you add Power BI reports so they will work with the above referenced control? I have been searching for hours and cannot find any examples or video training for how to do this (there are lots that show the old way but this no longer works).
Thank you for any help you can provide as I have to believe many others are trying to figure this out.

@DanInDenver I believe that this is the new way to do what you want. Create or edit a Power BI embedded system dashboard - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

Thanks for the reply from Greg_Deckler , please allow me to provide another insight:

Hi, @DanInDenver
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

Indeed, as LGreg_Deckler mentioned, the official documentation clearly outlines the issue you encountered and recommends removing all Power BI report controls from model-driven apps and instead using Power BI system dashboards for embedding.

Below is a screenshot from the relevant documentation:
