Good day,
I know you can do dynamic 'dataset' binding for paginated reports, but I have been unable to determine if you can do dynamic 'data source' binding?
For example:
Is there a way in the binding process to tell the RDL file which Connection String I want it to use?
Thank you,
Ann
Hi @annhwallinger ,
I think you can try Microsoft Report Builder to create your report.
As far as I know, warehouse supports OLE DB, ODBC, JDBC for connectivity. These connectors are available in Microsoft report builder, which then supports customizing the connection string with the parameter.

Hi Rico,
Thank you for your reply. I actually did try that but as soon as I parameterized the connection I was no longer able to publish to Power BI. It worked locally and I have used it in SSRS but it wouldn't publish to powerbi.com. Do you know if this is something that is supposed to be supported?
Thank you,
Ann Wallinger
