Power BI Embedded: Infinite load with RLS

Hello, I have a problem with powerBI embedded. I have une RLS role that filters (or not) data. Each user are assigned to one attribute, if the attribute is 1, no filter, if 2, filter. I use Username in order to achieve this.

It works well in desktop, but when I try with embedded, if attribute is 1, the user can see the report, if 2 (with filter), it loads indefinitly. Any idea about how to fix this problem?

HI @MylenePBI,

Can you please share some more detail informations to help us clarify your scenario and test to troubleshooting?

How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly

For example:

1. Which type of embed are you used? Publish to web or power bi embedded?

2. Could you please share the code or configuration you are using to implement RLS in Power BI Embedded?

3. Any error messages or warnings displayed when the report is loading indefinitely?

4. Have you try to use the web browser debug tools(F12) to trace any logs or error messages? If so, could you please share them?

Regards,

Xiaoxin Sheng
