Hello,
In our company, we plan to have an instance of Power BI Embedded and need to refresh our reporting data regularly. We are considreing that our data are in an Azure SQL Database.
I would like to confirm that the schedule refresh option is available on Power Bi Embedded and that is possible to use it with "import data" mode which links our reports at the database. Reading forums and documentations, I'm not certain if it's possible.
Thx in advance

Hi @qlegoff,
Firstly, the refresh can be done in your scenario. Secondly, as we can see from the name "Embedded", we just embed the contents of Power BI in our application. That means much work will still be done in Power BI.
In your scenario, we can set "schedule refresh" in Power BI dataset settings. We don't need to take care of the refresh in the front-end application (customer application). But we still can trigger a refresh with REST API. Please refer to api/power-bi/datasets/refreshdatasetingroup and the snapshot below.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi @qlegoff,
Could you please mark the proper answer as a solution?
