Power BI Custom Data Connector: Web API Key

Hello to you all,

I've been trying to find a sample custom data connector that uses a Web API Key to authenticate a connection. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find anything in that vein. If anyone could point me to a github sample or any other example I'd be very grateful.
