I tried to make a POST request to a dummy REST API from my custom visual. After I sent the POST request I got an error
I tried to put sandboxVisualsEnabled=0 and sandboxVisualsEnabled=1. I found an explanation in this article.
I also tried to add my URL to the privileges array in the capabilities.json file.
While I was watching this tutorial, the speaker mentioned that from the visuals we can do GET requests but not POST requests.
Can we make a POST request from custom visual to BE?
I was able to do a GET request from custom visual but not POST. I was wondering what would be the best approach if I want to make an application like Power BI visual that can do POST requests.
Do you know something like that?

I suppose they may be related to security reason. AFAIK, some official custom visual(e.g. R visual) also not allow you directly send request to access/view external resource from visual itself.
