Organization Content Packs and Gateway Refreshes

If I publish a content pack to my Organization which automatically refreshes data once a day, then a user in my organization makes a personalized version of this content pack to customize some visualizations, will the content pack data be refreshed for them daily as well?  Or is it that once a user personalizes a content pack, they have a complete snapshot of even the underlying data?  if the answer is that the underlying data is not refreshed for personalized content packs, then my next question is Does PowerBI plan on giving authors of content packs options when they publish them which allow restricting customization to only visualizations so that other users can customize visuals but still get data resfreshes as they happen in the original content pack?

@g_reese It's been awhile since I tested this end to end, but data changes should propogate without any issue. It's updating something in the dataset, report or dashboard that will initiate the end user to have to get the latest version.

thanks for the reply. So if a user simply changes a chart on the report, they lose the data refreshes?

@g_reese No. If you change any of those things in the original then the end user has to get the latest. It all rides on who built the original content pack.
