Not able to update excel file as datasource

Hello experts, i'm having a hard time figuring out how to make it work but i've optimized a power bi splitting the queries into multiple excel files, my main idea was refresh the datas in parallel reducing the time it would take. since using a power automate to run a refresh script didn't worked (refresh did not reflected no the BI) i tried to use the "Refresh every x minutes" option on the excel file, as you can see in the image:

What is happening now is that this is also not reflecting since it should update every 1 hour but it is not updating ever, those excel files are uploaded on a sharepoint where i'm feeding them to my BI.

It does work if i manually open the file on the app and refresh it but it is not auto refreshing as i thought it should.

What am i missing here? What could i do to fix it and have the excel file update itself without a manual refresh?

The Power BI Service will refresh the queries of a Semantic Model that are based on files in SharePoints "within the hour"  of these files being modified. But the actual modification of these files (ie the refresh of the underlying sources in the Excel file, for example ) is something that you still need to manage yourself.
