.NET Export Report to PDF

Using the .NET client library for Power Bi when calling ExportToFileInGroup() I am getting this error -

{"Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.."}

The spn has report.readwrite.all and dataset.readwrite.all permissions. The workspace has an account with EM1 capacity as an admin. I've checked that all parameters are being passed correctly. Has anyone seen this before and what are the possible causes?

Thank you.

Cause by Firewall/TLS configuration/Proxy server

PowerBIClient gets Groups and Reprots but Fails on ExportToFileInGroupAsync

Turns out the issue was on our side, more specifically, security/firewall settings. Here is the exact quote from our networking guru.

"After some more investigation we determined that our firewall was causing this issue when it was terminating the SSL connection. We were able to add a bypass for the URL and it is now working as expected."

.NET Framework not configured for TLS 1.2

Resolution
