Moving a report from the Power BI Report Server to Power BI Service

Hello,

I want to move the report from PBI Report Server to Power BI Service.

Currently, the data source for the report is the local drive.

How can I use the same report in the Power BI Service? I also want to change the data source to SharePoint Online. 

I would like the Excel file with the data and the PBI report to be stored in the cloud. 

I tried uploading a PBIX file to the cloud, but then the question was how to change the data source of it and so on.

Maybe someone tried and could consult?

If you are work with a common pbix file, you can parameterized your connection string then you can use a query parameter to control which data source your report used. (they required to have the same data structure)

For the report server dataset, it seems not to allow expression-based connection strings.
