Hello,
New to PowerBI and doing a lot of training right now.
I hope an easy question: how to add a new column in table with same value for all rows.
To add a column is known, but how to set a new single value for all rows with one command?
Thank you!
Solved! Go to Solution.
In the Query Editor, go to > Add Column > Custom Column >
In the custom column formula something like = "abc" will create a column of all "abc" values
I would like to know if this works with incremental refresh or not.
lets assume that i am adding a custom column in my table and setting value = "abc" for example , all the cached rows will have a value 'abc' for a custom column but after every incremental refresh , will new rows have the same value ?
would be great if you can help.
Thank you

Hello,
I found it here:
Add a custom column, give it a name and enter the value as formula like "ABC"
That's all...
