Missing data Due to Case Sensitivity In Power BI

Dear Team,

We have one requirement to give rank based on wholesaler name and data is coming from impala and there we have same name with upper and lowercase its having different ranking but whenever we loaded the data in power BI its considering as one and we are missing lowercase wholesaler data.

Kindly help me on this issue that would be great.

Thank You.

Best Regards

Gowthami

Have a look at the CaseSafeID functionality in SFDC. You can implement a similar transform for your customer name data with a power Query function.

Hi Sathvika,

As oracle/Imapala are case insenstive so they are treating as different word like "SATHVIKA" & "sathvika" but in this case if both are related same user/wholesaler then try to convert the entire the columns data to Upper case in Imapala and then refresh the data then it will match the rank in both side i.e DB level to report level.

if you are requirements not acceptable with above suggestion then go through the following link you may get some information.

Thank you
