Looking for a more detailed custom visual sample source code

Hi,

I am trying to build a custom visual in PowerBI for Project Timeline with milestones and projects. I need to render multiple types of elements and position text dynamically. I also need to render elements below the x-axis.

The barchart sample that is provided on github has only basic features. Is there a better sample with source code that goes into more features and functionality?
