Lock Filter created using Filter Parameter in Power BI Report Server

Hello All,

I have been able to implement Filter URL Parameter in Power BI Rpeort Server (On-premises)

I want to give the Report URL to our MSPs/Resellers but they need to see only thier data and not other MSPs data.
I have implemented filter parameter in the Report URL something like below:

https://reportserver/reports/powerbi/ReportName?rs:embed=true&filter=UsageDetail/MSPName eq 'MSP001'

It shows the filter on MSPName with MSP001 selected as the filter value.
However, users can also see other MSPs in the filter as well as Select All option.

I want that only the filter parameter does not show any other MSP except the one I sent in the parameter i.e. MSP001
Also, users should not be able to select "Select All" option.

Is it possible to lock the Filter created using the URL filter parameter so that use cannot edit the filter.

Regards,
Gagan

No, this is not possible.  Security by Obscurity does not work.  Implement RLS, or create separate reports in separate workspaces.

Usually Report Server is used when you DON'T want your data to leave the premises.
