Live data from sharepoint?

Dear community,

I am doing a project on integrating Power BI with our Sharepoint data and coping with the following question: is it possible to stream live data from Sharepoint to Power BI (not hourly refresh but live data)?

A yes or no would already help me lots. If yes, do you have any guide or link that could help me out with realizing that connection?

SharePoint is not really the ideal live streaming data source but you could probably get there using Flow and as items are entered into a list, Flow would pick those up and write those to something like Azure SQL DB perhaps which you could then connect to using Direct Query. Explanation of the use case would be helpful in coming up with a solution.
