Hi
I was hoping to replicate the right click -> new group from the field side bar but as a widget on the report similar to a slicer. The idea behind this is to allow the view/user of the report to choose and re-choose the groups they want the charts to dispplay.
An example using countries:
Imagine a list of customers and the country in which they operate. A small selection of a made up example is included:
Country | Customer |
America | a |
America | b |
UK | c |
China | d |
France | e |
France | f |
Germany | g |
The countries on this list could be grouped by, for example;
Whilst these groups could be set by creating a new group, I was hoping that there may be an option for the groups to be created and recreated by the user live on the report, dynamically changing the chart associated rather than having several fixed groups, each requiring it's own chart. In this example the chart could show a count of customers per group of countries or proportion of customers per group of countries.
Essentially having the new group creator pop-up for discrete data but as a widget on the report for a report viewer to use.
Thanks
