Linked server to semantic model

We migrated SSAS to Power BI semantic model. How can I build a linked server to access power BI semantic model through openquery? Thanks!

Hi Rico,

Thanks so much for your reply! My situation is: I need to combine on-premise sql server data  and some data from Power BI sematic model migrated from SSAS  in one store proc, and this proc is going to be called from on-premise sql server. Even though I can connect to power BI via XMLA, I have trouble to integrate the data into my local sql server queries.

Thanks!

Hi @graygraybear ,

According to statement, I think you can try XLMA EndPoint to connect to PBI semantic model with SSAS.

You may refer to below blogs to learn more details.
