I am trying to use https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/fabric/core/git APIs to perform GIT Sync in once of my workspaces.
I have tried two things
I am using a SPN which has access to the target workspace and has the APIs whitelisted as well. I have attached the error screenshot as well Any guidance would be appreciated
I have verified that my token is working using other API calls
Hi @Sarim_Husain ,

Thank you for your response, @ibarrau .
Thanks, I found that this is a limitation
The limitation is applied for SP with automatic credentials source regardless of the repo (github/ ADO).
So nothing much we can do for now, unless there is a way to create a feature to include Apps
Thank you for confirming and providing the details. I understand the limitation with SPNs in this situation and will watch for any updates from the product team.
If there are any changes or you find more information, please share it here. Let us know if you need us to validate anything else on our end.
Thanks for all the help
Hi @Sarim_Husain,
Just checking in to see if the issue has been resolved on your end. If the earlier suggestions helped, that’s great to hear! And if you’re still facing challenges, feel free to share more details happy to assist further.
Thank you.
Hi. That error is a bad request. Something on the way you build the request, url, body, etc is not ok. Can you show your code? otherwise we can only say the same thing the message of the picture says, you are missing the credentials configuration.
Regards
Happy to help!
