I am trying to create dataset (API) using postgres
"connectionString":"Data Source=postgresql://localhost/Postgres?user=other&password=secret;Initial Catalog=Postgres;Cube=Model"
And m getting 202 response in postman but in PowerBi desktop getting issue
"This Data source can not be accessed by data gateway server:"postgresql://localhost/Postgres?user=other&password=secret;"
Any other way to do this .

For on-premise Data Source, you need to use the gateway.
And PostgresSQL is listed as the supported data source for User configured manual or scheduled refresh:

Just want to clarify I am able to connect to Power Bi desktop via gate way on premise .
Here I am facing issue while trying through power BI API
