Is there an error in the documentation of the "Connector extensibility in Power BI"?

In the company I work for we made a custom connector to distribuite to our users and to avoid redundant documentation made by us we use the one provided by Microsoft. So, we share the link to Connector extensibility in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn to show how to add our connector to the data sources list in PBI Desktop.

Well, this week we have some comments from one of our new users, that he followed the guide in the link pasted above, but the connector was not in the list. I take a look to the article and found that the path to paste the .mez/.pqx files is:
 [Documents]\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors
Using that path the custom connectors are not shown.

But in my PC and the PC of the user using the previous path solved the issue:
[Documents]\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors

Is the documentation wrong or is something new for specific PBI Desktop versions?

The documentation is wrong.  [Documents]\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors is the correct path as of now.

BUT!  Only on the desktop.  On the gateway you can use whatever path you want (well, it needs to be readable by the service account).
