For my project, I have built an API connector. The connector is used in Power BI Desktop to retrieve financial data from Twinfield accounting software. But last week the database provider tightened its security policy. Now when I want to sign-in for my connector, it refuses, because it thinks that I am accessing the database through Internet Explorer.
The consequence is that the connections saved within Power BI Desktop work, but I am not able to login with any new credentials. Is there a way to force Power BI Desktop to use Chrome or FireFox for the login?
Hi @BlobBlobHopHop ,
Are you sure it is the browser problem?
Would you mind providing code snippets for custom connector verification methods?
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
