IVusial update method not called when going from focused node back to normal mode on iPad

On ipads the update method of an IVisual is not being called when going from Focused (large) to normal (small) mode.

It is being called when going from small to large.

Not quite sure what you're talking about. I see ipad, is it Power Bi mobile?

Happens on both the borswer and the app (which I assume uses safari internally).
