How can I give users a "Subscribe to Email" option in an embedded Paginated Power BI report

Hi Power BI community,

I'm working on an application that embeds Paginated Power BI reports using the Power BI C# API. I would like to provide users with the ability to subscribe to email notifications for specific reports.

I've reviewed the Power BI REST APIs for subscriptions, but it seems that the built-in subscription feature is not available for embedded reports. I would like to know if there are any workarounds or alternative approaches to achieve this functionality within an embedded report.

Specifically, I would like to implement a feature where users can click a "Subscribe to Email" button or link within the embedded report, which would then prompt them to enter their email address and set their subscription preferences. The selected preferences would be used to create a subscription that sends email notifications based on the defined schedule.

Has anyone successfully implemented this kind of functionality for embedded Power BI reports? If so, I would greatly appreciate any guidance, examples, or best practices you can share.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Regards,

Jyoti Jadhav
