How To improve direct mode performance

Hi All,

I have direct mode connectivity in power bi report as i need to create dynamic parameter. and i can't switch to import mode as the parameter binding wont happen in import mode. so we have to go with direct connectivity.
But the issue is the report takes few seconds to load .. how can i improve the performance of the report.
any suggestion would be appriciated.

Thanks in advance..

Hi @saswati0709 ,

There may be many reasons for low performance of report , such as poor network, messy model, many visuals and heavy DAX etc. You can refer to the following links to optimize your model and report to see if the report will have good performance in the future.
