Getting error when refreshing data from Impala

I have been getting an error trying to refresh data from Impala on daily basis with underlying error message of ERROR [08S01] [Microsoft][ImpalaODBC] (120) Error while retrieving data from in Impala: [08S01] : ImpalaThriftAPICallFailed or [Microsoft][ImpalaODBC] (450) Error when calling the Impala Thrift API GetTables: ETIMEDOUT.

Is there anyone received the same error and how do you fix it?

Thanks

Hi @halamsjah ,

The message shows ETIMEDOUT. Possible cause of connection information error.

Please try to use Power BI desktop to connect to the database via Impala. See if it runs successfully.

If so, please re-upload,

if not, please check if the database server is available. See if the port number of the server is correct.

Best Regards
