Hi,
I have a dataset where i imported the data from On-premise SQL database. My requirement is to fetch this dataset data in to a Json file. i have seen some articals on MSDN to get teh dataset / table list.
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt203567.aspx
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt203556.aspx
I am able to get the dataset details but not able to fetch the table details in that dataset. I took two tables from SQL server in the data set. when i use the string
https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/groups/{group_id}/datasets/{dataset_id}/tables it is giving from 404 error and unable to fetch the details. I am replacing the actual groupid and dataset id in this string. Also i am the owner of that dataset as well.
Could you please help me in this scenario ?
TIA
Rahul

@Anonymous
The REST API Get Tables only supports push datasets and hybrid datasets(streaming dataset with historic data analysis enabled). Since in your case, the dataset is a on-premise SQL Server, the API doesn't work.
