Fetching Data from WebApp

Hello All,

I am very new to Power BI and it would be great if you could help me with one problem.

So here it goes,

Just like Tableau provides the funtionality to build a Web Data Connector for WebApps, what does Power BI offer on a similar scenerio. 

I have already developed a Tableau WDC for my webapp but I am looking to build a similar solution in PowerBI so that client can choose between the tools of there choice. 

Any help/link/document would be very helpful.

Hi @Anonymous 

I am not very familiar with this, but I suggest that you look at the following documentation to create a custom connector for Power Query (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/startingtodevelopcustomconnectors)

This connector should be able to connect to your webapp and load the data in Power Bi.
