Exporting BI report to Excel

Hi,

I have a report which is a matrix table in power bi, when I try to export it to excel all I get is a blank Pivot table

when I try and recreate the matrix table, it tells me I can add anything into the values section.

Any Ideas how I can export my report to be in excel and act/look like my power bi report?

Thanks

Kelly

Thanks Ibendlin, I was hoping for a way to have my report export to excel the same way it looks in power bi. I dont really want to have to recreate the whole report again in excel using other measures

Power BI can use implicit measures. This means it allows you to put items in the Values well if Power BI "feels"  the data can be aggregated somehow.  This is indicated in Power BI by the Sigma symbol.

"Analyze in Excel"  does not have that capability. It expects you to create explicit measures in Power BI.   Once you do that you will be able to put the results into the values well of the Pivot control.
