Enhanced Refresh API doesn't refresh Scorecard/Metrics

I have set up automation to refresh the individual tables inside of datasets when the source table in our data warehouse is refreshed. Our datasets don't need or have a "full refresh".

We set up a Metrics Scorecard and found that the values in the Metrics Scorecard only update when there's a "full refresh". How can we have the Metrics Scorecard refresh using the enhanced refresh API?
