Embedding with a Power BI Pro License

Is it going to be possible to embed reports & dashboards into a webpages with a Power BI Pro license (via power bi service rest api)? Or will this only be available in the new Power BI Premium plan?

@belmore

You can always embed reports/dashboards from PowerBI.come. Check Embed dashboards into an app. Do note that for the shared reports/dashboards from PowerBI.com, any people who'd like to access them must have Power BI Account as well.

Eric,

Thank you for the reply. I'm a business analysis, not a developer (citizen developer at best)....It would be great if embedding a secure report or dashboard was as simple as the publish to web (generate the embedded code) -- and then copy and paste embedded code into a html page.  I would expect that a Power BI Pro incense would be required due to sharing (secure) -- So that in order the someone to view the embedded report from a web page -- they would be required to sign into Power BI -- It would be great if I could generate the embedded code from an Power BI App (I know that this requires a pro license) -- any idea if the embedding process will get easier in the future -- for Pro license users?

Thanks

Can I please clarify something in this regard..

We embed our PowerBi dashboard into an internally written .NET application that resides on premise.

The embeded Dashboard and or reports all are hosted within our companyt domain Powerbi accounts.

We assume for anyone to consume that dashboard they must have a PowerBi Pro License.

There shouldnt be any need to look at Premium licensing in this instance just because the dashboard is embeded should it ???
