Embedding a report without the login popup

Hi,

I have a .NET web app where I want to embed reports. I have read guides and tried working examples of how to achieve this but this requires the user to sign in to power BI/Azure AD before showing the report.

I have tried different ways to get a valid access token from the backend using the ClientID and secret but they do not seem valid.

Do anyone have any guidelines how to achieve this or is it not currently possible? I do not want to do a public publish since I want the reports to only be reachable from my site.

Thanks in advance!

Well, you could always use the "Publish to Web" feature and just iframe it. Not sure if that would meet your needs, but wouldn't require a login.

Hi this sadly do not work since then the report could both be publicly distributed and also filters would not work.

Did you try the 'App owns data' embedding?
This worked for me.
