Hi,
I'm having difficulties in understanding the licensing scheme Power BI has for Embedded solutions. I've browsed the documentation and the community questions multiple times, and still haven't figured it out. In my opinion the documentation about the licensing options is lacking the specific info on different SKU tiers and data refresh limitations.
My current setup is PowerBI Embedded (A1 tier) assigned to a workspace and reports embedded to a customer portal. The capacity shows correctly after the Workspace name (the little diamond telling that it's dedicated capacity). Embedding and reports work fine. I have also set up a gateway and configured 2 MS SQL databases (both in Azure), and manually refreshing the data set works fine. But when I try and create an automatic refresh for the datasets I can only select 8 different times for the refresh - after that the "add new time" button disappears. I thought if I have dedicated capacity set up I could refresh more than 8 times. Is this a glitch in the GUI and I should do the refresh through an API to overcome the 8 limitation or something or am I completely lost here? I also tried to upgrade the tier to A3 (which is the first "dedicated capacity" according to the table here) and A4 (which would basically match P1 in terms of cores and other stuff) without any effect on the refresh limit.
