Embedded Filters

Hi all,

I would like to write a custom GUI to handle report filtering using the javascript api.  I can see from the documentation (https://github.com/Microsoft/PowerBI-JavaScript/wiki/Filters) how to define and add/remove filters, however can anybody tell me how I can get the filter options for a field to include in my custom GUI?  I can see how to set the values to filter on but cannot see how to get all of the options as highlighted below.
