Hello Everyone,
I require to create an automated table that takes a weekly backup of dynamically changing values in POWER BI
Details:
I have a table that is updated dynamically many times.
Lets say I am refering to petrol prices and they dynamically change everyday.
On every Monday, I want to add a row in table storing the current petrol price and the week number.
On Sunday, the price for that week is freezed, and any further price change should be stored in a new row for week number 2
and the cycle goes on until the end of the year.
Please help on how to achieve this on POWER BI.
Hi @Anonymous,
Power bi is a reporting tool and it does not contain writeback and cache historical data features.
I think you need to these scheduled backup tasks external and use power bi to get data these processed data to design reports to show the analysis results.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
