Is scheduled refresh is needed in power bi when loading data by direct query method?
I seen in many pages that shceduled refresh is not required but in official website(Screenshot give below) it is mentioning that the scheduled refresh is necessory for direct Query connection
Can someone please explain

Yes, it is necessary to schedule refresh for DirectQuery mode connections so that new data is queried directly from the data source. The difference to the "Import" mode is that the data is not imported into Power BI, however the query needs to run on a schedule to return new data to the report.
The mode that doesn't need scheduling within the Power BI Service is what we call "Live Connection" - the comparison between them is in the link:
