Default value for Slicers

Hello Power BI Community,

We have a requirement to set default values/pre-selected for slicers based on Slicer of different table. We have visualizations and filters on 2 reports, coming from different tables which are not linked.

Table 1 - Has RLS applied, Visualization and Filters and RLS
Table 2 - Visualization and Filters

Slicers value selected in Table 1 report page, should be applied by default when we navigate to reports from table 2 and its filters.

We are not linking table 1 and 2, since RLS requirement on table 1.

Appreciate any help to achieve this.

Regards,
Ravi

We are not linking table 1 and 2, since RLS requirement on table 1.

Those requirements seem to contradict each other.

BIG WARNING NOTE:  Default slicer values and RLS are incompatible!!!
