Debugging 'developer visual' using a free Power BI Basic account (expired trial)

Does anyone know if it is possible to build and debug a custom visual using VSCode and the 'developer visual' in the browser with a Power BI Basic account?

My Pro trial is about to expire and my company has the licensing not sorted out yet, so my account will be reduced to a basic/free account for a couple of days.

My understanding is that the free account only allows you to run the 'Power BI Desktop' software, not the web-based version and as a consequence I cannot continue debugging custom visuals.

Thank you,

Martijn

I can confirm that after the Pro trial expired I am still able to log into app.powerbi.com and develop/debug custom visuals from within VSCode.

I guess you can create a new Trial account by using another email.
