Dataset not load in excel.

Hi all,

 

When I try to connect via ‘Get Data’, ‘Power BI Dataset’ in excel, I just get the spinning wheel and no datasets load.

I can analyse it via the pbi.service, but the business only use the datasets via excel.

 

Any ideas what’s causing this?

Instead you can suggest this Analyze in excel approach from pbi service.

Hi @ROG,

What type of account you test on the excel side? Have you tried to get data on the power bi desktop side?

In addition, I'd like to suggest you check the firewall and network policy settings to confirm if they block the power bi requests:
