Hi @jaryszek ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
I would also take a moment to thank @jaryszek , for actively participating in the community forum and for the solutions you have been sharing in the community forum. Your contributions make a real difference.
This Auto Date/Time option in Power BI creates hidden date tables automatically for every date column in your data. It’s helpful for quick reports, especially for beginners, to use things like year, month filters without creating a separate date table.
But in real projects, we usually use our own proper date table. If Auto Date/Time is turned on, Power BI will create many hidden tables in the background which can make the model heavy and confusing.
That’s why we suggest turning it off to keep your model clean and better in performance.
Hope the above provided informations help you resolve the issue, if you have any further concerns or queries, please feel free to reach out to us.
Regards,
Harshitha.
You forgot to disable Auto Date/Time in your PBIX settings.
@lbendlin
what is this option, why to have this and why to block it?
Best,
Jacek
