I am in the process of creating a custom visual and also I have a code written with api version 1.1 by a colleague and when I run that code with "pbiviz start", the visual did not appear and nor did the formatting options. I re-wrote the code again by merging the old code with the steps given here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/custom-visual-develop-tutorial. Now, the formatting options do appear, but the visual does not. However, I can see the values getting updated via the "Show DataView" option but the visual does not appear. Does anyone have any idea why that is happening? The code is compiled correctly and returns no errors. Attaching the screenshot as well for reference. Kindly advise.
