Create new partitions to exisiting dataset via powershell

I have a power bi dataset that i would like to be able to automatically create new partitions via a powershell script. This is not an analysis services model, rather deployed directly to the workspace. Is this possible? If so, any examples?

Did you mean to use PowerShell to invoke API to deploy the report to power bi service ? If that is the case, you can refer to the following link:

New-PowerBIReport (MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt.Reports) | Microsoft Learn
