Create import API returned : X-PowerBI-Error-Info: GroupNotAccessible

I tried importing a report into a group/workspace using the API ( POST https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/groups/{group_id}/imports). I got a HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized with the header: X-PowerBI-Error-Info: GroupNotAccessible

 

Does anyone have a clue or information that could help resolve this? Thanks.

@tagagu

  • Can you confirm that the groupId is correct and you're indeed one member/admin of that group?
  • Ensure that the clientid has sufficient permissions. See how.
