Copying Dataset from one workspace to an other to create new repot-Will copy refresh ?

I am trying to copy a dataset Ranking from workspace UAT to work space Sample.  I will be creating new reports with that dataset ranking. I am planning to download this dataset via PowerBi desktop and and save as a new name"RankSample"

Will RankSample get updated when Ranking "orignal" dataset will get updated?

these two dataset would be in two different workspaces. Ranking dataset is driven from synapse and Rankingsample detset I would be creating copy from Ranking.

All  possible thoughts would be appreciated..
