Convert a visual to measure?

Dear Community,

is there or will there be a function that allows me to convert a visual to a measure?

Background: even if I was good at creating measures, sometimes there are lots of filters (and lots of criteria per filter) on a visual which I also need as a measure for another operation and it becomes complex to create the measure manually. It would be really helpful if there was a function which would translate/convert the visual to a measure.
