Dear All,
I need some help regarding the data source limits when using service principal profiles in Power BI. I understand that each profile can manage up to 1000 workspaces independently, similar to regular users. However, I need clarification on the data source limits.
Does the limit of 1000 data sources apply independently to each service principal profile, or is it an aggregated limit across all profiles under a single service principal?
I've reviewed various resources including Power BI Dev Camp repositories, public documentation, and relevant videos. While these provide insights into workspaces, they do not explicitly address data source limits per profile.
It seems logical that each service principal profile would have its own limit of 1000 data sources, similar to workspaces. However, this is not explicitly stated in the documentation. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embedded/embed-multi-tenancy)
I need an official response or documentation reference to confirm whether each profile can manage up to 1000 data sources independently.
Any insights or official references would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
