Can you embed an ODBC driver into a custom connector?

Hi! I've been trying to use the PowerBI AdoDotNet datasource with the Npgsql provider and and it connects but I have no idea how to show the listing of datasets and do directquery and stuff, any help with that would be preferred.

 

Backup plan is to use ODBC but I don't want customers to have to install a driver to use it, can I include the driver in the connector?

As far as I know, if you enable direct query, you need to use ODBC driver
