Can we set default URL which gets rid of any filter or slicer been selected by end user?

Hello All,

I need assistance if someone can comeup with to have a default URL everytime without any filter/slicer from previous selection.

Detail exapme: Here "Employment Type" filter has been selected by user. Now, if user closes the report (even logout from powerbi service and login back), the view for this user have this filter selection. The user wants to have view without selection.

I know we can create a reset icon, but user doesn't want to click on anything, rather to have default view everytime when report is been open.

Looking forward to some great solution.

Thanks,

Neha

There is an option in Power BI Desktop to prevent users from saving their filter choices. You can set that but be prepared for the backlash.  Your job is to facilitiate insights from your reports. It is not your job to prevent them from doing things and to make it harder for users to get the insights.
