Can i use synonym in preference to field name for Q&A visual title?

I have an embedded Q&A report for users to explore their own data. The data model provided to me has field names that make sense to developers but won't mean a lot to clients. I've used synonyms to make field names more user friendly, however I notice that the automatically-generated visual title uses the field name. Is there any way to make this title use e.g. the first listed synonym instead? Is there any way at all to affect the visual title of an embedded Q&A?
