Azure DevOps Boards Analytic View Date Field

Hello

I need some help with Analytic Views.

I have created a Custom view in Azure DevOps Boards Analytic views.
I created Custom view with fields AreaPath, Assigned To, Iteration Path, Remaining Work, State, Title, Workitem Id, Work Item Type.

I have connected to this view from power Bi desktop using Azue Devops Boards only connector and loaded the data.

now in the loaded dataset i see two new columns Date, Is Current along with my fields i selected before.

I'm trying to understand from where this Date and Is Current data is being pulled in / generated ??

Can anyone knows what it is ?

Hi @c_avu

Thanks for sharing. I see the difference with my view (where I wasn't seeing this fields).

You are using a Rolling period of 60 days in your History settings, instead of the Current only view. That's why you are getting the Date and Is current columns in your data set.

Those fields can be used to have a look at historic data in your view:

Yes, It seems like Date field is pulling data from one of DateValue/DateSK columns from snapshot table.

For this view I have applied filter for Sprint.
But, I have other view with no filters, this 'Is Current' is being added there as well.

It seems this additional 'Date' and 'Is Current' columns are related and somehow being pulled into dataset.

Couldn't figure out how these additional columns data is being generated, it must be from the entites WorkitemRevisions, WorkitemSnapshot entities.

Hi @c_avu,

Can you share the rest of the settings of your view?

Normally you can specificy if a sprint is the current sprint. So, Is Current sounds a lot like the property of the Sprint 18 itself.
